Flashback to a typical school day on Hatsune Island. After preparing Junichi’s bento (and fending off Koyomi’s attempt to steal his food), Kotori heads out to meet Junichi. He arrives late and rejects Kotori’s delicious offer of waking him up as she had done previously. (You darn fool!?!) Commuting to school, Kotori’s offer of the bento is met with Junichi’s sincere expression of gratitude for her continual care. The lovey dovey atmosphere is disrupted by an untimely Miharu who is disapproving. Back in the classroom, Kotori is grilled by her friends on her status with Junichi but the conversation stalls when the trio is reminded of the incident one year ago…
It’s lunchtime and the Nabe sisters are having their hotpot on the rooftop as usual. Junichi is teased about his love bento only to be offered Miharu’s banana buffet. Harem hijinks happen with Miharu stealing Kotori’s bento and Junichi requesting for Kotori’s aid to recover it. The Nabe sisters are suddenly joined by ninja-esque Suginami would proceeds to openly ask about Junichi/Kotori’s status much to the couple’s embarrassment and ire of Mako who then dishes out her legendary punches that never land on Suginami…
